From January 20 to 22, 2020, the Drees & Sommer energy experts presented their expertise in energy production, distribution and storage at the Energy Summit in Germany’s capital city, Berlin.
Under the motto: Die Klimawende als Chancengeber (‘climate change as a business opportunity’) the leading innovators and pioneers of the industry met at this year’ Handelsblatt Energy Summit 2020. The summit was attended by high-powered experts and representatives from politics, business, science and research. Many national and international speakers provided a varied program, which was supplemented at times by live transmissions from the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.
Drees & Sommer had a booth in the exhibition which accompanied the conference, and presented itself as an experienced partner for energy projects. The energy experts Christoph Vagn Philipsen and Wera Schnetz also used the industry event as a place to network and share experience.
As in the previous year, there were parallel expert forums which offered deeper insights into topics such as future urban neighborhoods, demands for tomorrow's energy supply companies, digital processes etc.
