New development opportunities emerged for the Stadt Kitzingen (Municipal Authorities of the City of Kitzingen) through the withdrawal of the American armed forces. The conversion of the area vacated with a total of 400 hectares is a "once-in-a lifetime" project. The complex development is being structured by subdividing it into core projects: inner city, promenade, activity belt and conversion.
