New management at Drees & Sommer Vienna - Austrian business continues to grow

With just under 10 years' experience as a project manager at Drees & Sommer Stuttgart, Dipl.-Ing. Ralph Scheer (36) has taken over management of Drees & Sommer Projektmanagement und bautechnische Beratung GmbH in Vienna. From its office in Vienna, the team is currently managing projects such as the upgrade of Vienna airport VIE Skylink terminal, the IZD Office Centre in Vienna, and construction projects in Hungary.

"My goal is to further expand the aspirational Vienna office and intensify activities in Hungary and Slovakia," says Ralph Scheer of his new role. A civil engineer by profession, Scheer has many years' experience in the management different types of projects such as construction and revitalization of shopping centers, office buildings and industrial projects with services ranging from competition management to commissioning and sale to end investors. Drees & Sommer's holistic approach to project management services is in particular demand in the Austrian property market, for example through the involvement of DS-Plan for building services equipment.
