DS-Plan AG to be renamed Drees & Sommer Advanced Building Technologies GmbH from April 1, 2008

Following the national and international success of DS-Plan AG, the company will be integrated into the Drees & Sommer brand under the name Drees & Sommer Advanced Building Technologies GmbH. In recent years, DS-Plan has won and developed key strategic markets of the future such as Green Building, general technology planning and facility management consulting. The integration will allow the experts to support the increasing internationalization of the entire group and broaden the brand's market presence.

DS-Plan is a wholly owned subsidiary of Drees & Sommer. It has operated as an Expert Team within the Drees & Sommer group since 1980 and is responsible for the development and application of future-oriented technologies for economically and ecologically sustainability in real-estate projects. The combination of structural physics, facade technology, building services equipment, building ecology, facility management consulting, energy design and energy management results in holistic consulting that has time and again brought innovations to the world market. The integration is a key element of positioning  Drees & Sommer as a single source for a comprehensive range of services: Project Management, Real Estate Consulting and Engineering. The focus on a single brand also enhances brand penetration on the international market. So from April 1, 2008, DS-Plan AG will operate under the name Drees & Sommer Advanced Building Technologies GmbH. Senior management - comprising Dr. Michael Bauer, Martin Lutz and Peter Tzeschlock - remains unchanged. DS-Plan GmbH für ganzheitliche Bauberatung und Generalfachplanung - a limited liability company for "holistic construction consulting and general technology planning" - will continue to exist.

For 35 years, Drees & Sommer has provided professional project management and structural technical consulting. The integration of DS-Plan AG systematically supplements core competencies with two key divisions: Real Estate Consulting offers services such as due diligence and technical asset management, while Engineering marks Drees & Sommer's targeted entry into the market for general technology planning and construction management, further enhancing the holistic support provided to customers.
