Description

Energy savings - The new Landesbank Baden-Württemberg buildings falls below the Energy Conservation Regulations (EnEV) annual heating requirement by 25 percent and meets the City of Stuttgart's requirements for the Energy Seal of Quality. The aim of the Seal of Quality is to provide motivation to achieve energy savings greater than those required by legislation, while at the same time reducing operating costs.

Thermal solar - The fully glazed high-rise was provided with triple glazing using thermal insulating glass and a double facade. The cooling ceiling can also act as a heating ceiling. A solar collector warms air and drinking water in the entire complex, substantially reducing the primary energy requirement.

Holistic concept - As general specialist planner, the DS-Plan Expert Team developed concepts that met all ecological and economic requirements.
