Modern office building - In Hamburg's City Süd (City South), HOCHTIEF is implementing the LINDLEY CARRÈE, with some 24,500 square meters gross floor area. Even before construction of the building began, some 8,000 square meters had been leased to a well-known insurance company. The 7-story development includes a landscaped square and opens out onto the Southern Canal on two levels. Restaurant and beverage areas are planned in the ground floor.
Setting standards in energy - The LINDLEY CARRÈE will be one of the first buildings in Hamburg to undergo United States Green Building Council (USGBC) LEED certification (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design).
Early involvement of experts - With project management support of the local Drees & Sommer regional office and the Green Building experts from Drees & Sommer Advanced Building Technologies together with support from project participants from the areas of architecture, landscape architecture, structural design and building services equipment, the office building will be developed in keeping with the principles of sustainable building.
