Learning together - The education campus of the Dieter Schwarz Foundation in Heilbronn is Germany's first central location to bring teachers and pupils of state-run and private educational institutions together. Since 2011, the German Graduate School of Management and Law, the Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University and the Academy for Innovative Education and Management are all combined under a single roof.
Assuming responsibility - For the developer, the Dieter Schwarz Foundation, Drees & Sommer bore full responsibility for planning and implementation. This was made possible through a highly efficient management model: General Construction Management (GCM).
Fulfilling specifications - With GCM, Drees & Sommer managed the entire preparation, planning and implementation of the project, from programming through to handover. Despite high demands in terms of functionality and sustainability, the project was completed within budget and on time - despite a tight schedule of just 20 months' construction time.
