Description
Building ensemble - Wöhr & Mieslinger, architects, designed a group of three low-rise buildings and a high-rise. The office building - conventionally constructed using site-mixed concrete, glass, ceramic and natural stone facades - offers new accommodation for some 2,000 employees and features a large company restaurant.
Building site coordination - Site logistics and the overall control of site access were complex, as the developer was at the same time undertaking construction work that reached to the building foundation. This required extensive coordination.
Consulting and decision-making - The customer's satisfaction is the result of professional consulting, decision preparation and coordination of parties involved throughout the project. Conventional planning and trade-oriented award of work allowed the LBBW to make changes (such as in the accommodation plan) in a manner that minimized cost and schedule impact.
