Description

Part of the corporate culture - The Mercedes-Benz Museum in front of the gates of the Untertürkheim plant is an architectural highlight and a high-profile platform for prestigious DaimlerChrysler events.

Sophisticated in every respect - Complex negotiations were required with authorities in order to get the go-ahead for a project in a mineral spa protection zone and close to a waste disposal site. The geometrically curved structure and double-helix viewing route fully exploit the technical potential of the architecturally impressive building.

Manpower and cost stability - For the Owner, DaimlerChrysler, Drees & Sommer's experience and performance with comparable prestigious projects were decisive. In view of the tough competition in the global automobile industry, assurance of project completion within budget had top priority.
