The Peter Bruckmann School of Commerce and Home Economics opened punctually for the start of school in mid September 2005.
The Peter Bruckmann School of Commerce and Home Economics opened punctually for the start of school in mid September 2005. The Office of the District Administration commissioned Drees & Sommer Stuttgart with project control for the new school complex and DS-Plan with energy consulting, the development of a ventilation concept, and solar protection control. Always aware of the approved budget, the project managers achieved a cost reduction of # 3.6 million for the client. The building - which has a gross floor area of some 16,000 sqm - was designed by the Stuttgart-based CCR firm of architects and was awarded both the Jury's and People's Choice "Good Buildings Awards" by the Baden-Württemberg State Branch of the Association of German Architects (BDA).
