The building complex comprising four buildings with a total of 48 rental apartments is the first project in Germany developed with exclusive use of the Partner Model.
Hohenzollernpark Holzgerlingen near Stuttgart held its topping-out ceremony on November 7, 2006. Over 80 guests, owner representatives, tradespeople and building partners were present, as were representatives of the Holzgerlingen town council.
Even before contract award, several medium-sized planning and construction companies joined together to form a project company under the leadership of the BuildingAgency.
The partners are jointly building the complex for the investor Projektentwicklungs-gesellschaft Wohnen im Hohenzollernpark mbH & Co. KG.
By using various competencies at an early stage of the project and through synergies in the project partnership, the BuildingAgency was able to substantially optimize design and site logistics. As a result, the project company achieved a sale price for the building that was 20 percent below the local market level. In addition to a guaranteed fixed price with no supplementary claims permissible, the owner was given a fixed handover deadline of April 2007.
Bernhard Unseld, member of the management board of the BuildingAgency, thanked the tradespeople and building partners who practice this partnership approach and demonstrate that - with the BuildingAgency's Partner Model - building can be fun again.
