The Drees & Sommer data platform for property portfolios provides effective support for property sales processes.
The large wave of sales on the property market has led to ever greater demand for the Virtual Deal Room. This application archives all relevant information on properties for sale with keywords. Potential buyers all over the world can then view the portfolio at the same time in multiple languages. Special confidential access to a simple folder structure means that users can easily view, download and print the documents they need. This results in big savings for vendors and purchasers, as costly shipment of documents is no longer necessary. And the acceleration of a property transaction by a single week immediately pays off the investment in the Virtual Deal Room. In 2006 alone, Drees & Sommer has set up and operated more than ten Virtual Deal Rooms. These achieved a sales volume of more than EUR 1 billion. The Virtual Deal Room was used, for example for the sale of 25 WestInvest properties. During the four months of operation, 50 investors accessed more than 5,500 documents relating to 215,000 mē of leasable space. The sale price was EUR 505 million. During the sale of 24 properties by Salamander AG, 600 users downloaded 26,000 files. The project involved digitizing 108 paper binders.
