An office and retail property in Breslau, Poland is to be added to special Deka-ImmobilienFonds assets.
Deka Immobilien purchased the eight-story building from the Belgian project developer Ghelamco Group for some EUR 106 million. Drees & Sommer undertook technical due diligence for the property and was largely responsible for advising Deka on technical issues during negotiations. The building - which is almost fully tenanted - has 24,000 square meters of office space and 4,400 square meters of retail space. The key tenant is Google, which occupies some 13,700 square meters of office space. This purchase is Deka-ImmobilienFonds first investment in Poland.
