On November 13, 2008, guests and project participants celebrated the topping-out ceremony for the 89-meter Sky Office.
Drees & Sommer is responsible for project control of the Euro 150 million office building. Facade planning and structural physics consulting for the building were undertaken by experts from Drees & Sommer Building Advanced Technologies. With a gross floor area of over 56,000 square meters, the 23-story building offers space for innovative work concepts. Some 60 percent of the office space is already leased. The building - which has an unusual ground plan in the form of a double ellipsis based on a design by architect Christoph Ingenhoven - is set to become a new landmark in the Düsseldorf skyline.
