The foundation stone laying ceremony for extension of the production building for B. Braun Medical SA took place in Crissier at the end of November 2008.
Drees & Sommer is providing project controlling services for the CHF 48 million (approx. EUR 31.5 million) project. A new production line will be built on some 9,000 square meters in Crissier. From November 2009, pharmaceutical bags for nutrient solutions will be manufactured there. These bags will be filled at the Life Nutrition plant, which currently still under construction at B. Braun Melsungen AG company headquarters in Melsungen, Germany. Here, too, Drees & Sommer is supporting the project, undertaking project management.
