Project management for the BMW Group, Munich

In April 2005, Drees & Sommer Munich have been commissioned to effect the comprehensive project management for the construction of the new building that will house the engine test bench.

First tasks are to structure the project, support BMW in regards to the final commissioning of those participating in planning, firm up all dates and verify the project budget. The project - with a construction sum of more than 100 million Euro - is developed on the grounds of the Centre for Research and Investment (FIZ) of the BMW Group in Munich. In 2008, the building is to offer new space for the motor tests of the BMW Department for Development and will contribute to improving conditions for all involved engineers.
