Drees & Sommer undertakes energy management and quality assurance for BSE.
In December 2008, the ground-breaking ceremony took place marking the start of construction work on Frankfurt Airport's new A-West pier. Drees & Sommer Advanced Building Technologies has been commissioned to undertake system planning, definition of energy coefficients and quality assurance. In this way, the real estate service provider is paving the way for economically and ecologically optimized planning and for efficient building operation. By 2012, a new passenger services area will be created to the west of Frankfurt airport's Terminal 1. The 790-meter long pier will provide docking for seven widebody aircraft, creating capacity for an additional six million passengers per year.
