Opening of the shopping centre Schlössle Galerie

On 17 March, numerous invited guests from politics and industry celebrated the opening of the shopping centre Schlössle Galerie in Pforzheim.

In 2001 already, the contractor, AM Development Germany GmbH, engaged Drees & Sommer Stuttgart to accompanyproject planning and construction with their comprehensive project management. Central tasks of the project managers were the controlling of costs as well as deadlines and quality requirements.
Coordinating the requirements of the 45 tenants was not the only task that made the shopping centre a special project. The insolvency of the general contractor Walter Bau AG posed yet another challenge for the Stuttgart project managers to ensure opening the Schlössle Galerie according to schedule. After completion of the shell, façade and upper parking level, Drees & Sommer presented about 45 residential units within the building with overall 45.000 square metres to its tenants and has been coordinating interior construction since. An excellent cooperation between all involved in construction and Gassmann + Grossmann, site supervisors who had assumed technical management and quality management of the construction work, facilitated the timely opening of Schlössle Galerie.
