Breakthrough for Drees & Sommer in Dubai

Drees & Sommer Gulf FZ LLC has been commissioned with extensive project management performances for the project "International City" in Dubai.
With an area of 800 hectares the building project, which is similar to a city, of the largest project developer in Dubai Nakheel currently is the biggest structural engineering project of Drees & Sommer with regard to the space.
In the urban development area "Al Warsan" the "International City" is emerging, which is to build a turnstile for trade, residential, commercial and touristic facilities. The unusual residential real estates are divided into various subject areas and comprise altogether 3.3 million square metres of gross storey area. 21,000 of planned residential units are built in Chinese, Iranian, English, French, Italian, Spanish, Greek, Russian, Moroccan as well as in Thailand-Indonesia style. For international investors, resellers and tourists the "International City" offers excellent prerequisites. Within three years the building project is to be completed with 6.9 billion Dirham (1.9 billion Dollar) of project volume.
