Drees & Sommer infrastructure experts are managing the autobahn project near Munich.
The South Bavarian Motorway Department put the project on hold because of lack of funding. Thanks to the Second Economic Stimulus Package, construction can start in April 2009.
Drees & Sommer is examining the five construction phases in detail. The experts are also helping the Motorway Department with scheduling, coordination, organization and documentation, as well as with contract and supplementary claims management. Major construction work is expected to be completed by the end of 2010.
This is the second autobahn project within four months undertaken by Drees & Sommer in the Munich area.
