The Esslingen District Office celebrated the opening of its EUR 26 million new annex at the beginning of May 2009.
The new offices are the result of a Public Private Partnership. They will accommodate 380 employees in an area of 13,000 square meters.
During project preparation, Drees & Sommer defined space requirements and compared the feasibility of various scenarios: leasing of office space at multiple locations, or a new building financed by the District Administration itself or by private-sector investors. The analysis showed that realization using the Public Private Partnership model was very economical.
The Drees & Sommer experts supported the principal by providing consulting services throughout the entire PPP process.
