On June 23 and 24, 2009 representatives of the construction and real estate industries will meet for a second time at Consense.
This year, the exhibition - which is organized by the German Sustainable Building Council at the Stuttgart Trade Fair Center - has the motto "Creating value-add - Sustainability in the construction and real estate industries". The program comprises technical papers, workshops and an exhibition.
As a provider of services for ecological and economical building, Drees & Sommer will show visitors about how ecological and economic requirements can be brought into harmony in energy-efficient construction.
Dr. Michael Bauer, Managing Director of Drees & Sommer Advanced Building Technologies, will examine the topic "Making use of synergies - holistic planning, consulting and management". Drees & Sommer will also present special features of the German Sustainable Building Certificate for office buildings and for city quarter certification.
As part of a workshop on the international significance of sustainable building, Peter Mösle of Drees & Sommer will present the German certification system in the international context. An excursion to the Drees & Sommer office building Obere Waldplätze 11 (OWP 11) in Stuttgart-Vaihingen - which has been awarded the German Sustainable Building Certificate in Gold - will provide visitors with the opportunity to experience energy-efficient buildings first-hand.
