After around just a year of construction time, the new administrative building for the Klinikum Stuttgart officially opened in early June 2009.
Drees & Sommer, together with HWP-Planungsgemeinschaft, oversaw project controlling for the new EUR 13.5 million facility, providing smooth project sequencing where costs and scheduling were concerned. These experts also assisted the developer with the land-use plan proceedings and the invitation to tender for investors. Spanning some 6,000 square metres in space over seven storeys, the modern building offers floor space for around 300 employees, along with an underground car park with 48 parking spaces and 14 outdoor parking spaces. A conference and events area that can accommodate up to 250 participants rounds out the Service Centre.
