The foundation stone for the second extension of the European Court of Auditors was laid on the Plateau de Kirchberg in Luxembourg City at the beginning of July 2009.
Drees & Sommer has been commissioned to undertake construction management for the building. The project management company won the competition in a sophisticated public tender process, competing against four other bidders. The experts from Drees & Sommer Advanced Building Technologies will provide consultation in building physics, facade technology and energy management. The complex project is scheduled to be completed by the beginning of 2012.
