06.07.2004
Chancellor Gerhard Schröder accepted an invitation from Stihl and made a personal appearance on June 23, 2004 at the opening of its new development center for chain saws.
At company headquarters in Waiblingen, Andreas Stihl AG & Co. KG, global leader in power saws, has invested approximately 40 million euros in an ultramodern research and development center. This high-tech project was directed and managed by Drees & Sommer, Stuttgart. The Drees & Sommer team saw to it that cost objectives and the schedule were met so that the new center could be handed over ready for operation after a short construction period. It was especially important when doing so to ensure that planning was adapted the processes of the company.
