Practical training - lean management for construction projects

14.12.2009

In practical training sessions throughout Germany - Drees & Sommer, in conjunction with Heuer Dialog - is showing how the successful lean management concept developed by industry can be beneficially applied to the organization of a building site.

Lean management for construction projects transfers the successful lean concept from industrial production to the building site, ensuring task-oriented lean processes. Simple visual control on a daily basis allows demand-oriented provision of necessary materials, employees and machines and the avoidance of disruptions.

To ensure that principals, investors and the public sector benefit from lean management, Drees & Sommer and Heuer Dialog have established a nationwide series of two-day practical training sessions. During these lean management training sessions, participants learn how to apply lean principles to their own project. The program features a mix of theoretical knowledge and practical work. During simulations, participants develop measures for improvement and apply lean theory to a synchronized construction sequence. The instructor and speakers are experienced process managers with Drees & Sommer Process Consulting.

The training sessions will take place as follows:

Stuttgart: February 8 and 9, 2010
Cologne: April 26 and 27, 2010
Hamburg: June 29 and 30, 2010
Berlin: September 13 and 14, 2010

The number of participants is limited. For further information and registration procedure, please see the invitation.
