Moscow: Sberbank opens pilot branch with new corporate design

On December 14, 2009 German Gref, President and CEO of Sberbank Russia, presented the first pilot branch in the new Sberbank corporate design to the public in Moscow.

Sberbank is the largest credit bank in Russia and the CIS and accounts for some one quarter of the total assets of Russian banks and one third of bank capital. The bank was founded in 1841. The bank has 18 regional headquarters and more than 19,050 branches with some 265,100 employees.

The opening of the branch marks the launch of the bank's new corporate branding covering everything from logos and redefinition of work and customer service processes to rebranding of the company's premises. The new brand was developed jointly with Fitch of London.

Drees & Sommer is responsible for project management of rebranding the first pilot branch and has been supporting the project since August.
