The client for whom the building is being built has commissioned Drees & Sommer as general manager and agent of the client in order to successfully realise the construction project until the middle of 2006. At its first contract in Qatar Drees & Sommer takes over the cost, schedule and quality assurance. Above all, the extensive technical consultation, which already begins during the planning stage of a construction project, plays an important role, because the German equipping standard has only been implemented occasionally. As early as in the previous planning the requirements for the sites and their implementation could be optimised in such a way that an increase in rental space as well as an increase in return of approximately seven percent could be recorded. The recommended strategy of Drees & Sommer to carry out an invitation to tender in individual trades in award pacts - instead of integrating a master builder for the turnkey implementation - facilitates further cost savings of five to eight percent. By this Drees & Sommer offers a complete support from the beginning and increases the return to the satisfaction of the client for whom the building is being built.
