Inauguration: Foundation Hospital Nördlingen

In January, numerous guests, among others the Minister of State Christa Stewens, celebrated the inauguration of the overall project foundation hospital Nördlingen.

The modernisation and structure improvement measures took altogether 15 years. They were carried out in five construction phases, which were separated from each other in order to maintain the hospital operation without any disturbance and interruption. During the whole construction phase the necessary interim solutions of the individual construction phases were a central challenge for the whole project management team of Drees & Sommer Munich. The project managers supported the complex redevelopment measures of approximately 76 million Euro from the second construction phase.
Drees & Sommer Munich was also commissioned to draw up the two brochures "House in Change" and "Human Being in the Centre of Attention". They show individual rebuilding and extension measures with high requirements on the planning and construction implementation and inform about the work of individual wards in the foundation hospital Nördlingen.
