Topping out ceremony for the AlleeHaus: an important milestone

On February 05, 2004 the topping out ceremony of the AlleeHaus of the SV-insurance company was celebrated in Karlsruhe.
Formal addresses for the new construction were given by Reinhard Schäfer, deputy chief executive of the SV-insurance company, Manfred Groh, mayor of the city of Karlsruhe, Heinrich Haasis, president of the Sparkasse association Baden-Württemberg and Stefan Heselschwerdt, managing director of the SüdBau GmbH and the Drees & Sommer GmbH Stuttgart.
The six-floor office and service centre, which is going to be developed on an area of 2000 square meters, offers an area of 6.300 square meters which can be let. The SüdBau GmbH Stuttgart is engaged to carry out the complete realisation, the turnkey implementation of the construction project as well as the organisation of the first letting - in this it guarantees at the same time cost security. The company is a subsidiary of the Drees & Sommer AG, the Landesbank Baden-Württemberg and the SV-insurance company. The investor SV-insurance company and Südbau as complete organizer cooperate closely as partners at the Alleehaus by sharing the chances and risks. The project team of Drees & Sommer is responsible for the smooth project organisation and takes care that costs, schedules and qualities are kept. Until the last milestone, the planned opening in six months, the SV-insurance company invests altogether 12 million Euro.
