Work on the construction of the new Fellbach Swimming Pool Complex began with the ground-breaking ceremony on May 3, 2011.
Located on the fringe of Fellbach, the new leisure facility comprises an open-air pool area, a leisure pool and a sports pool with a total water area of some 2,350 square meters, as well as a 1,600 square meter sauna area. The complex is scheduled to open in summer 2013.
Drees & Sommer conducted a feasibility study for the project for the City of Fellbach as well as a undertaking a profitability analysis as the basis for a invitation to tender for private operators . The experts will also undertake project management and will be responsible for adherence to budget, schedules and quality specifications.
