Foundation stone laid for new Octapharma building in Heidelberg

Drees & Sommer undertakes project management

Following a planning phase of only six months, the foundation stone of the new Octapharma Biopharmaceuticals GmbH office and laboratory building in Heidelberg was laid on July 8, 2010.

Scheduled for completion by September 2011, the new premises offer a floor area of some 9,000 square meters and will accommodate the research unit currently in Martinsried near Munich and the office of the Chairman of the Executive Board of Octopharma AG.

Drees & Sommer will undertake project management and is responsible for adherence to budget, schedule and quality specifications. The Project Communication System PCS is being used as a project management tool (data and information exchange).
