Drees & Sommer undertakes project control for new building.
On July 2, 2010, 14 months after the start of construction, the Sparkasse Freiburg-Nördlicher Breisgau (savings bank) celebrated the topping-out ceremony for the Unterlinden development in Freiburg.
The savings bank's commercial building - which has four underground levels and six upper stories - will provide some 26,000 square meters of retail and office space for the savings bank as well as public underground parking for some 250 cars.
The shell of the 10-story 'Solitär' is taking shape right next to the savings bank building. Together they form the Unterlinden ensemble. The principal is local developer Peter Unmüssig.
Drees & Sommer is undertaking project control for the savings bank and ensuring on-schedule completion of the project. The Unterlinden development is scheduled to be finished by June 2011.
