Drees & Sommer has been maintaining an office in the Belgian capital of Brussels since May 2010.
The company's aim is to further expand its international range of services in the areas of Project Management, Real Estate Consulting and Engineering.
The Managing Directors of the new Belgian subsidiary are Christopher Matthies and Frank Reuther, Managing Director of Drees & Sommer Luxembourg. As a project partner at
Drees & Sommer, Matthies has managed numerous projects in France and Luxembourg since 2004. Christopher Matthies and Frank Reuther will jointly build up the new Belgian operation.
Current projects include project management for the refurbishment of a building that will become the new headquarters for the Parliament of the German-speaking Community of Belgium in Eupen. Increased demand is expected in the market, particularly in the areas of major urban projects and construction projects for EU institutions.
