The eighth Efficiency and Circular Economy Congress Baden-Württemberg takes place on October 23 and 24, 2019 in the southern German town of Leinfelden-Echterdingen. Freiburg City Hall Awarded Climate Positive Rating
The city hall in the German city of Freiburg was awarded the DGNB Climate Positive rating by the German Sustainable Building Council (DGNB e.V.) on October 8, 2019 at the EXPO REAL trade fair in Munich, Germany. Drees & Sommer was responsible for the integrated energy Concept, General Technical Planning and for CO2 accounting following the completion.

Expo Real 2019: Drees & Sommer Booth Inspired by Cradle to Cradle®
For the first time Drees & Sommer has designed its booth according to the Cradle to Cradle method (C2C). This means that the materials used in the booth are optimized according to C2C-principles and that after the trade fair they will be returned to defined material life cycles so that hardly any waste is created.

Sustainable Textile Products Manufactured According to the Cradle to Cradle Method
In a pilot project, EPEA’s experts supported Lidl in the development of textile products based on Cradle to Cradle principles (in short: C2C). The market launch of the nightwear and bed linen collections manufactured in line with C2C principles now marks the successful completion of the project.
