The Clinic Real Estate Of The Next Generation Conference will take place on February 14, 2019 at Radboud University Medical Center in Nijmegen, Netherlands. The event will focus on topics such as the future of healthcare real estate and on current trends in the healthcare sector.
‘For the next generation of healthcare real estate, extremely close collaboration between interdisciplinary teams of experts will be absolutely essential. We would like to use our conference to contribute to that topic, share experience and provide our guests with some pioneering motivation,’ said Jürgen Zimmermann, Head of Drees & Sommer’s Healthcare Division and co-organizer of the event along with Radboud University, and event agency Congress und Presse.
The annual conference is normally held in Germany but will branch out this year to the Netherlands for the first time ever. The conference is aimed at decision-makers in hospitals and medical facilities, clients, architects and planners. In addition to motivational presentations from renowned speakers from Germany, the Netherlands and Luxembourg, the one-day conference will also include a number of workshops designed to give conference guests and visitors the opportunity to find out more about the use of the Building Information Modeling (BIM) digital planning method and the Lean Construction approach in the construction of healthcare properties. Speakers and experts will also report on what is happening out in the field and will present a number of current European healthcare projects, including examples in Luxembourg and Denmark. The conference program will conclude with a series of visits to Radboud University Medical Center and an award ceremony highlighting achievements in the healing environment field.
