Drees & Sommer Corporate Film Wins Six Awards in Cannes

The award-winning film was produced to mark Drees & Sommer’s 50th anniversary; it presents the company’s vision for the next 50 years. The uniting of opposites is a central theme: ecology and economics, efficiency and wellbeing, tradition and future, analog and digital. ‘The film showcases what is in our company’s DNA. We are optimistic for the future, successfully innovative and act sustainably,‘ explained Steffen Szeidl, Member of the Executive Board at Drees & Sommer SE.

Bringing this DNA to life in impressive images required a huge amount of time and passion from all those involved. The 6 minutes 19 seconds that the finished film lasts are the result of a one and a half year journey – which has now reached a climax for the time being. At the virtual awards ceremony for the Cannes Corporate Media & TV Awards yesterday evening, the corporate film won no less than six trophies!

The two highlights are especially the White Dolphin, the highest of all the accolades, which is awarded only once among all Gold winners out of a total of 850 entries submitted, and the Blue Dolphin for Cinecore GmbH as the best production company. THE BLUE WAY, Next Exit also cleaned up Gold awards in the categories Image Films and Corporate Videos, and Black awards in the technical categories Best Camera and Best Sound Design.
