To improve processes, to work more flexibly, to promote communication and to finally break the barrier between desk and product – these were the main objectives defining our task. Three different vehicle lines, all with their own identity, specific requirements for their working environment and each with an individual character, were given a common home in a place where the Motorbike community can be experienced.

With this in mind, we developed a holistic and innovative concept that gives each product line its own character and at the same time creates a common creative framework. The product itself, and the confidential nature of its on-site development, became central and integral to the bespoke workspaces, enabling the optimisation of creative development processes and the generation of a strong identification with the brand. New, specially developed, customised workplace typologies enable the optimisation of processes and cross-disciplinary knowledge transfer. Shared areas, such as the coffee lounge designed like a “biker hangout”, facilitate the cross-functional networking of an already strong Motorbike community. “Make Life a Ride” is now reality in the workplace.
