The climate house is a highly complex structural engineering edutainment project: the nine stations take visitors on a journey through the different climate zones around the globe along the eighth degree of longitude.

The building consists of two structures that are almost completely separate from one another. The exterior shell of glass and the roof with its supporting aluminium structure surround an interior structure made of concrete. The exhibition areas can be accessed via a central entrance hall. The engineering concept provides a resource-saving solution for the energy supply that generates virtually no CO2 emissions.
