The complexity of construction projects in both building construction and infrastructure is constantly increasing. Quality, deadlines, cost-effectiveness, building technology, sustainability, regulatory requirements and user needs all need to be reconciled. Macroeconomic conditions make it difficult to fulfill the task, as do scarce resources in the construction industry and planning offices. In addition, very few construction projects are characterized by all project participants pursuing the same goal and cooperating effectively with each other.
With Integrated Project Execution (IPA), a project execution model is increasingly coming into focus in Germany that promotes intensive cooperation between all relevant participants and can provide solutions to current problems. Innovative framework conditions in the areas of culture, organization, economics and methods with jointly defined goals, rules for cooperation and incentive mechanisms ensure that value creation is maximized for all project partners.
