IT infrastructure in the data centre and server room, more than just data cabling

Planning a data centre involves an extremely large number of technical disciplines. This special event organised by ComConsult GmbH from the 19th till the 20th of February looks at the most important trades that an IT manager should influence and helps you to think outside the box.

It is only when you deal intensively and directly with the specific wording that you realise that the interpretation of the statements is not always clear and that there is often room for manoeuvre when making decisions. This interpretation of the standards can then result in very different and sometimes serious changes to the planning and must be recognised at an early stage.

Many of the presentations at the event take an overarching view, moving away from a fixation on details and making it particularly clear which topics need to be addressed in addition to pure data cabling when planning a new data centre or redesigning an existing one.
