German Haus is a pioneering premium grade office tower in the centre of Ho Chi Minh City. The 25-storey building consists of 28.000 net square meters of prime office real estate. The building is home to the Consulate General of the Federal Republic of Germany making it a destination for German companies and promoting German-Vietnamese relations.

In close cooperation with gmp architects, Drees & Sommer developed the building envelope as an outside ventilated double skin curtain wall system, the first one ever build in Vietnam. Our team of engineers accompanied the project throughout all project phases, including supervision of mock-up, workshop and construction site quality.

The German House in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, is one of our top projects. These are projects we are particularly proud of. Not only have they helped our respective clients move forward, but they have also helped us as a company.

Why is the German House in Vietnam one of our Top Projects?

  • Facade construction: The double-shell facade construction combines comfort, sun protection, aesthetics, and energy efficiency and is adapted to the climatic conditions in Vietnam.

  • Home for German-Vietnamese relations: The German House offers German companies a destination in Vietnam and thus has the potential to promote German-Vietnamese relations.

  • International project in Southeast Asia: The project required good international cooperation. It was carried out as part of a strategic partnership between Vietnam and Germany with the participation of the German Foreign Office.
