The Toni area, named after the former Toni dairy, the largest milk processing plant in Europe at the time, is located in the centre of Zurich-West. After its closure, it was repurposed and remodelled from 2009 to 2014. Today, it houses the Zurich University of the Arts, two departments of the Zurich University of Applied Sciences and 100 rental flats.

Drees & Sommer Switzerland supported Allreal Toni AG during the construction phase and during acceptance and commissioning of the building. The aim was to ensure that the approximately 2,000 rooms were handed over to users smoothly and on schedule.
