Sustainability: more than "just" nature conservation for us.

For many customers, the first thing that comes to mind when thinking about sustainability is renewable energy generation or insulating their building. That is not wrong. However, the holistic approach is crucial - especially for a green hospital. In addition to the efficient use of resources and energy, protecting the health of patients and employees is also important. Reducing waste plays another important role and - related to this - fundamental considerations of a circular economy.

People are generally at the centre of green buildings. This requires planning that is orientated towards different needs. In particular, it must "mediate" between the requirements of different generations. Flexible building structures enable user-centred management of space and optimal work processes. A facility with "short distances" is then no longer a pipe dream. Furthermore, well thought-out lighting, ventilation and green planning ensure that unnecessary stress for patients and workers does not arise in the first place.
