Valley Amsterdam

Valley is an eye-catching feature on Amsterdam's southern axis. The iconic multi-purpose building consists of three towers, measuring 103, 80, and 70 meters in height. The individual buildings are connected by an irregularly shaped, green “valley” of terraces that rise in steps. Valley is an architectural eye-catcher and at the same time a perfect example of greening an urban environment by incorporating nature-inclusive elements. Project developer EDGE combines urban living with the use of healthy, natural materials, spacious terraces, and water features. The central valley on the fourth and fifth floors is open to the public.

Beneath the towers is a three-level underground parking garage with space for 375 vehicles. The ground floor and the lower seven floors house offices, restaurants, retail stores, (cultural) facilities, bicycle shelters, and access to the residential towers. The residential floors begin on the eighth floor. Valley houses a total of 200 luxury apartments with high-quality fittings.

EDGE asked Drees & Sommer for support with project management in the run-up to the handover of Valley. In the last year before the handover, our senior project manager was heavily involved in the current plan changes during construction, the preliminary inspections and approvals, and the handover of the 200 apartments.
