Haus zum Falken, Zurich

The new ‘Haus zu Falken’ building created a unique connection between Stadelhofen Station and the center of Zurich. With this prestigious urban development project, AXA Anlagenstiftung realized high-quality and attractive rental space for offices, retail, and service uses at Kreuzbühlstrasse 1–3. In addition, an underground bicycle parking facility with approximately 800 spaces was built, supporting the city's initiative for more sustainable urban mobility.

Drees & Sommer Switzerland supported the client through its client representative mandate, ensuring that the architecturally sophisticated design by Calatrava Valls AG was realized efficiently. The building not only set an architectural landmark but also met the requirements of a sustainable new building. This was underscored by achieving LEED Gold certification, which was delivered in close collaboration with colleagues from Drees & Sommer Germany.

Allreal Generalunternehmung AG delivered the new ‘Haus zu Falken’ building as the general contractor. Upon completion, the building became available to office tenants and users of the bicycle parking facility, providing direct access to the Stadelhofen Station pedestrian passage.
