Drees & Sommer Luxembourg was commissioned by ACRON GmbH from Düsseldorf to carry out a technical due diligence and subsequent monitoring for the "Wooden" office building development project in Leudelange, Luxembourg. The property is located on a hillside on the so-called "Tommelbierg", in an economic area in the immediate vicinity of the village of Leudelange, the main town of the municipality of the same name.

"Wooden" is the first wooden office building of this size in Luxembourg and the headquarters of the insurance company "Baloise" in Luxembourg. The building has six floors above ground, which mainly contain office, main and ancillary areas, and three floors below ground, which offer both parking and technical areas. The floor-to-ceiling glass façade provides a view of the timber structure, whose V-shaped lines and warmth of the material give the building a unique character. The project is exemplary in terms of sustainable development and well-being: The building offers its occupants 9,600 m2 of high-quality working environment. As a link to nature, the building has several loggias and green roof terraces. The building is certified according to BREEAM and WELL Building Standard™.
