The objective of Lufthansa Technik AG, headquartered in Hamburg, is clearly defined: to enhance its competitiveness in the global market. One of the measures to achieve this is the construction of a maintenance hangar for the overhaul of the fastest-growing engine line, the CFM56 engine family (manufactured through a joint venture between General Electric/USA and SNECMA/France).

This marks a new approach: the building is designed to adapt to the process, thereby ensuring maximum efficiency in operations in line with the principles of "Lean Production."

In 2007, we were commissioned to provide FM planning support, develop a user requirements program, and conduct BFK, following the successful completion of previous joint projects, such as the construction of the N3 Engine Overhaul Services facility in Arnstadt, Thuringia.
