FUTUREAVIATION

On October 20, 2021, the aviation community in Baden-Württemberg met to discuss the challenges facing the aviation industry, climate-neutral flying, technologies and trends, and the role of airports. The "FUTUREAVIATION" industry dialog, which was made possible with the support of the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Labor and Tourism, is intended to help secure Baden-Württemberg's position as an aviation location and provide impetus for industry change.

The focus of the follow-up event on April 21, 2022 at Stuttgart Airport will be an exchange between Dr. Anna Christmann, Federal Government Coordinator for German Aerospace, Prof. Dr. Josef Kallo, Founder and CEO of H2FLY, Prof. Dr. Andreas Strohmayer from the Institute of Aircraft Design (IFB) at the University of Stuttgart.

Drees & Sommer will be represented with a presentation on the "Road to the Smart Factory", in which Mathias Stach will present how automation and digitalization can be used to shape supply, planning and control processes. This increases transparency and reusability and simplifies the optimization and control of factory and logistics processes, leading among other things to a sustainable reduction in energy consumption and pollutant emissions.
