From brownfield to Bitcoin

Artificial intelligence, smart city, 5G/6G, Industry 4.0, electromobility, data sovereignty in Germany: advancing digitalization and modern technological developments are leading to strong demand for data centre capacities. Experts assume that demand will increase by around 10,000 new data centers in the coming years alone.

At the same time, many properties are currently completely or partially vacant. There is an opportunity to (re)use this potential space for data centers. The same applies to brownfield sites.

Drees & Sommer, Greenberg Traurig and JLL want to jointly demonstrate how existing building and land reserves are suitable for data centers of various sizes and what criteria the properties must meet. We will also consider the legal aspects that need to be taken into account when developing existing properties into a data center.

All of these topics will be highlighted and discussed at a Smart Breakfast.

We are looking forward to an exciting event!
